Song History
This famous segue originated from a jam that was performed after So Much to Say on 10.3.96 with Soul Coughing's M. Doughty. The song had a resemblence to Led Zeppelin's "The Crunge" where Robert Plant says, "Has anyone seen the bridge?" Somehow, the title stuck. Two days later the band decided to play it as a bridge in between So Much To Say and Too Much. The jam was an instant classic. After making a cameo in Before These Crowded Streets, the song went on to become one of the main highlights featuring the band's energy in 1998. In 2000, the song was involved in the suprising So Much to Say > ASTB > Too Much (fake) > Ants Marching sequence. Starting in the summer of 2003, ASTB turned into a segue for So Much To Say to go to a number of songs including Rapunzel, Spoon, and Warehouse.
