Stefan has confirmed on his Twitter account that this was actually the band's first show. The date and venue were posted on October 9, 2010, when he found his recording of the show. Later, on October 10, he posted the setlist. On November 9, 2010, a group of contest winners was able to listen to the show with Stefan at a Boston Ben & Jerry's.

The band's lineup at the time (and until August 1991) consisted of Dave, Carter, Stefan, and LeRoi. Boyd was a regular "special guest" at early shows until he became a member of the band in May 1992, but he did not guest at this show.

DMB was likely the first band to perform. Others in the lineup, in order of top billing, were TR3, Cosmology, The Basics, and Healing Drums w/ Darrell Rose.
