This show was originally scheduled for the next night May 14, 1999, but was moved when the Pistons made the playoffs and hosted a game that night. The Pistons defeated the visiting Atlanta Hawks 103 - 82 to even the series 2 games apiece. They would drop game 5 and the series two nights later, ending Joe Dumars's 14 year career.
