This was the first full show after the release of Away from the World.

It was announced on August 9, 2012, well after the majority of the tour had passed:
"Dave Matthews Band will celebrate the release of its forthcoming album Away From the World, with a performance at the legendary Hollywood Bowl in Hollywood, CA on Wednesday, September 12. The show will come at the end of the group's 2012 summer tour - and the day after the release of DMB's new studio album, Away From The World.

Every ticket purchased online for the Hollywood Bowl show will receive a digital download of Away From the World (standard album) on the September 11, 2012 release date."
